Stockholm Attractions - The Drottningholm Palace
Drottningholm Palace in Stockholm has been a royal residence for hundreds of years. It was built by the order of Queen Hedvig Eleonora, after the old palace burnt down.
In 1991 Drottningholm was nominated to become the first Swedish location to be placed on Unesco`s prestige-filled World Heritage List. It is the well kept Chinese Pavilion, the Court Theatre, parks and environment from the 1700`s that has contributed to it`s nomination.
