Gamlestan (Oldcity) is the original city of Lysekil that has been built out. This part of the city has been preserved as charming as it was a hundred years ago.

The Lysekil Church was built in the year of 1901 in bohus granite and in the windows we can see beautiful window paintings. For the little ones there are Lysekil's Playground with seesaws, mini railroad, motorcross, etc.
