By car:
Dresden is served directly by two autobahns: the A4 from Cologne and Eisenach in the west an the A13 from Berlin and Rostock in the north.

By rail:
The city also has two major railway stations with ICE, EC and IC services.

By air:
The airport is just 9km to the north of the city centre.
